410 Longfellow Ct., Livermore, CA 94550We have chosen Richards Heating and AC to replace and move our furnace to the attic. We have done extensive research and got quite a few quotes, but in the end, what made us make up our minds and choose Richards – is the way we were not pressured into an agreement, but rather given time to make our own choice and were given quite honest feedback and explanations for how to choose best furnace/ AC combo to meet our needs. It’s rarely when company takes time to thoroughly explain pros and cons about different models so we could understand our options. We were scheduled for work pretty fast and are very happy with the way the crew did their work. Jose, Cole and Olim were very professional and accommodating. Arrived on time and always cleaned everything up at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the results: much quieter furnace and perfect flow from air registers.
My wife and I just had the best possible experience with Richard’s Heating and Air. Another company performed a service call on our air conditioner, after which it developed a leak in the condensate drain system.
After two unsuccessful service calls the previous company proposed that we purchase an entirely new interior unit. At this point, we called Richard’s. Their very professional technician, Sean came out, diagnosed the problem, and confirmed that a new interior unit was unnecessary. Lisa and Caitlin in the office wrote up a very fair estimate and Olim, who is very nice and professional, came out and fixed our condensate problem.
The price was less than a third of the cost for a new interior unit! Thank you to everyone at Richard’s Heating and Air. You were there for us when we needed you.
I recently had the blower motor go out on my HVAC system. The system is less than five years old and stopped circulating the air through the house.
I called Richard’s Heating and Air Repair and they had a tech at my house within an hour or so. The technician was very polite and efficient. He spent about 45 minutes testing the motor in the hopes that it would be a simple fix. Unfortunately, he confirmed that the motor had indeed failed and would have to be replaced.
Fortunately, since the unit was less than 10 years old the motor was still under warranty and I only had to pay for labor. He came back two days later after getting a replacement. It only took an hour or so to install.
I was happy to get a new HVAC motor with my checkbook being relatively unscathed.
Their timeliness, efficiency, and good customer service is appreciated.
Our AC did not functioning well start from last year. We’ve got the impression that it would be a better choice to invest $15K to replace the current 18-years-old AC. A long story… Anyway, we saw there were a lot of people recommended Richard’s on Nextdoor. So we decided to give it a try. Sean came over to our place and fixed the AC problem in 30mins. What can I say, a big WOW!!!! My impression is just like one neighbor said on Nextdoor ” reliable, friendly, helpful”.
